Decorating in Kensington
Your local painter and decorator in Kensington
Kensington is stucco country. The white-fronted terraces and garden squares between Holland Park and South Kensington need repainting every few years to stay bright, and the council expects the right colours and finishes on listed façades. Inside, we decorate grand lateral apartments, mews houses and full townhouse refurbishments, often alongside interior designers and project managers with tight finish specifications. High ceilings, deep cornices and sash windows are the norm here, and so are building managers, porters and strict working hours, which we plan for from the first visit.
Typical homes: Italianate stucco terraces and garden squares, converted lateral flats in period buildings, cobbled mews houses off Kensington Church Street and red-brick mansion blocks around Olympia and Earls Court.

Reviews
What clients in and around Kensington say
I trust them with my most demanding clients. Colours are matched exactly, the paint finishes are flawless and they leave every house cleaner than they found it.
We gave them a Cat B fit-out with a fixed handover date and they put extra operatives on to pull back time lost by other trades. RAMS were in within two days.
Three ceilings boarded and skimmed and every wall in the flat re-skimmed, then painted by the same team. Dust kept to a minimum and perfectly flat walls.

FAQ
Decorating in Kensington: your questions
Do you repaint stucco façades in Kensington?
Yes. We repair cracked stucco, prime bare patches and repaint in breathable masonry finishes, matching the colours set out by the council and estate guidelines where they apply.
Can you work with our interior designer?
Of course. Much of our Kensington work comes through designers. We follow their specification, sample colours in situ and keep them updated with photographs as the job progresses.
Do you work in Knightsbridge, Holland Park and Notting Hill?
Yes. Our Kensington team covers Knightsbridge, South Kensington, Holland Park, Notting Hill and Earls Court too, including mansion blocks with porters and set working hours. We book lifts, permits and parking bays as part of the job.
