Industrial floor painting
Durable floors for warehouses, factories, garages and workshops
Our epoxy flooring in London is installed by the same directly employed team that handles our industrial painting. We prepare concrete properly by shot blasting or diamond grinding, apply industrial floor paint or resin systems chosen for your traffic and chemicals, and mark out walkways, forklift routes and pallet bays. From warehouse floor painting to a single home garage, the result is a floor that is easy to clean, safer to work on and built to last.

Floor coating systems
Choose the right floor coating
Compare the systems we install. We will recommend one after looking at your floor and how it is used.

Epoxy floor coatings
The workhorse of warehouse floor painting: a hard, chemical-resistant coating in two or more coats, or a thicker self-levelling resin for heavy use.
Best for
- Warehouses
- Factories
- Garages and workshops

Polyurethane floor coatings
More flexible than epoxy and resistant to UV and scratching, so colours stay true. Often used as a topcoat over epoxy.
Best for
- Showrooms
- Areas with sunlight
- Temperature changes

Fast-curing floor systems
Rapid-cure coatings that can be walked on within hours and driven on the next day, for sites that cannot stop for long.
Best for
- Live sites
- Weekend shutdowns
- Retail back of house

Anti-slip floor finishes
Any system can be made anti-slip by adding aggregate to the topcoat, graded to suit wet areas, ramps or walkways.
Best for
- Ramps and loading bays
- Wet areas
- Kitchens
Surface preparation
Preparation is what makes a floor last
Most floor coatings fail because of poor preparation. Ours starts here.
Survey and testing
We check moisture, contamination and the condition of the concrete.
Degreasing
Oil and grease removed so the coating bonds.
Shot blasting or diamond grinding
Laitance and old coatings removed to open the concrete.
Repairs
Cracks, joints and holes filled and levelled.
Prime and coat
Primer, coating system and anti-slip, then line marking.

Warehouse line marking
Line marking for safer sites
Clear line marking keeps people and vehicles apart and makes a site easier to run. We set out and paint lines, hatching and symbols in hard-wearing floor paint or epoxy, to your layout or to HSE guidance, on new coatings or existing floors.
- Pedestrian walkways and crossings
- Forklift routes and traffic lanes
- Pallet bays and racking lines
- Hatched safety and keep-clear zones
- Car park bays, arrows and numbering
Curing and downtime
How soon you can use the floor
Typical times for an epoxy floor at 20°C. Fast-cure systems are quicker, and we phase the work so the site keeps running.
- Light foot traffic
- 24 hrs
- Forklifts and vehicles
- 72 hrs
- Full chemical resistance
- 7 days
- Typical lifespan, properly prepared
- 10 yrs
FAQ
Epoxy flooring questions
How much does epoxy flooring cost per square metre?
As a guide, a two-coat epoxy floor paint costs from £12 to £25 per square metre, and a thicker self-levelling resin system from £35 to £60 per square metre, including preparation. Line marking is priced per metre or per bay. Small areas such as a single garage have a minimum charge. Every quote is fixed after a free survey.
How long does an epoxy floor take to cure?
Most epoxy floor coatings take light foot traffic after about 24 hours, forklifts after about 72 hours and reach full chemical resistance after around seven days. Fast-cure systems can be walked on in a few hours and back in use the next morning.
How long does a warehouse floor coating last?
A properly prepared epoxy or polyurethane floor typically lasts five to ten years in a busy warehouse, and longer in lighter use. Preparation makes the biggest difference: coatings on unprepared concrete can peel within months.
Do you need to close the site while the floor is coated?
Not all of it. We coat in phases, one bay or zone at a time, and use fast-cure systems where downtime is tight, so the rest of the site keeps running. Weekend working is common.
Can you add anti-slip to the floor?
Yes. We broadcast or mix an anti-slip aggregate into the topcoat, with a coarser grade on ramps, wet areas and loading bays and a finer grade in production and walkway areas.
Do you paint garage floors at home?
Yes. We coat domestic garages, workshops and home gyms with hard-wearing epoxy floor paint, prepared properly by grinding so it does not lift under car tyres.
