Industrial building with freshly sprayed grey composite cladding

Cladding spraying

Cladding spraying in London and the South East

On-site cladding spraying that makes tired, faded panels look new, without the cost of replacing them.

  • Any RAL colour
  • IPAF-trained teams
  • Up to 15-year systems

Cladding painting

Why respray your cladding instead of replacing it?

Faded, chalky and scratched cladding makes a building look neglected, but the panels underneath are usually sound. Cladding spraying restores the colour and protection for a fraction of the cost of new panels, with far less disruption and waste.

Replacing the cladding

New panels mean scaffolding, removal, waste and weeks on site. It is only worth it when panels are badly damaged or failing.

Access and site safety

Safe access, minimal disruption

Most cladding spraying is done from powered access platforms operated by our IPAF-trained teams, with scaffolding where it is safer. We fence off the work area, monitor wind speed, screen against overspray and protect vehicles, windows and neighbouring buildings, so your site keeps running safely around us.

  • Cherry pickers, scissor lifts and scaffolding
  • Exclusion zones and banksmen
  • Overspray screens and wind monitoring
  • Vehicles and windows sheeted

FAQ

Cladding spraying questions

How much does cladding spraying cost?

Cladding spraying usually costs from £12 to £30 per square metre, depending on the condition of the panels, the coating system and the access needed. That is typically a fraction of the cost of replacing the cladding. We give a fixed quote after a free survey.

How long does sprayed cladding last?

A properly prepared and primed cladding respray typically lasts 10 to 15 years, and manufacturers’ systems often carry a guarantee when applied to their specification.

Can you change the colour of the cladding?

Yes. We can match the original colour or change it completely, to any RAL or BS colour, in a range of sheen levels. Many owners use a respray to update a building to new brand colours.

Can you spray cladding while the building is in use?

Yes. We mask and sheet the work area, control overspray with screens and wind monitoring, and plan access so the building stays open. Noisy preparation can be done out of hours.

What types of cladding can be sprayed?

Most metal and composite cladding, including plastisol and PVC-coated panels, profiled steel sheets, aluminium panels, roller shutters, curtain walling frames and window frames.
