Industrial painters
Industrial painting without stopping your operation
Our industrial painters work on live sites: warehouses, factories, distribution centres and workshops that cannot close. As industrial painting contractors we plan the work in zones, bring our own powered access, protect stock and machinery, and apply coatings matched to how each area is used, from food-safe walls to anti-corrosion systems on structural steel.
Warehouses
Walls, high ceilings, racking zones and loading bays.
Factories
Production areas, plant rooms and offices.
Structural steel
Frames, columns, trusses and mezzanines.
Specialist coatings
Anti-corrosion, fire protection and chemical resistance.
What we paint
Warehouse and factory painting, floor to roof
Hover over each area to see examples.

Walls and blockwork
Warehouse and factory walls, including high-level blockwork and partitions.
High ceilings and roof soffits
Sprayed from powered access, with stock and racking fully protected.
Structural steelwork
Columns, beams and trusses cleaned, rust-treated and recoated.
Mezzanines and stairs
Steel mezzanines, stairs, balustrades and handrails.
External facades
Masonry, render and cladding on industrial units, sprayed or rolled.
Floors and line marking
Epoxy coatings, walkways, forklift routes and safety zones.
Specialist coatings
Industrial coatings matched to the job
The right coating system for the environment, applied at the thickness the specification calls for.

Anti-corrosion systems for steel
Structural steel painting with multi-coat systems: rust treatment, zinc-rich or epoxy primer, intermediate coat and polyurethane topcoat. It protects steel in damp, coastal and chemical environments.
Best for
- Structural steel
- Loading bays
- External metalwork

Intumescent and fire retardant paint
Intumescent paint swells in a fire to insulate structural steel for 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Fire retardant paint slows flame spread on timber and boards. Both are applied as tested systems, with dry film thickness measured and recorded.
Best for
- Exposed steel frames
- Escape routes
- Timber linings

Chemical-resistant coatings
Epoxy and polyurethane coatings that resist oils, fuels, cleaning chemicals and washdowns, for production areas, workshops and food factories.
Best for
- Production areas
- Workshops
- Food factories

FAQ
Industrial painting questions
How much does industrial painting cost?
Warehouse and factory walls usually cost from £6 to £14 per square metre, and structural steel painting is priced per tonne or per linear metre depending on access and the coating system. Access equipment, out-of-hours working and specialist coatings are itemised in a fixed quote after a free survey.
Can you paint without shutting down production?
Yes. We split the site into zones and work around your operation, with weekend and night shifts, so production and deliveries carry on. Stock and machinery are sheeted and walkways kept safe throughout.
Do you work at height?
Yes. Our teams are IPAF and PASMA trained and use cherry pickers, scissor lifts, towers and scaffolding, with a rescue plan and exclusion zones for every lift. All work at height is covered in the job-specific RAMS.
What is the difference between intumescent and fire retardant paint?
Intumescent paint swells into an insulating char in a fire, protecting structural steel so it keeps its strength for a set time, such as 60 minutes. Fire retardant paint slows the spread of flame across a surface such as timber or board. We apply both as tested systems at the thickness the specification requires and record it for your fire safety file.
Which coatings do you use on steelwork?
For structural steel painting we use anti-corrosion systems: a zinc-rich or epoxy primer, an intermediate coat and a polyurethane topcoat, chosen for the environment the steel is in. Old steel is cleaned and rust-treated first.
Do you guarantee industrial coatings?
Yes. Workmanship is guaranteed for two years, and many manufacturers’ coating systems carry their own guarantees when applied by trained contractors to their specification.
